1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Wahala Workers ("the Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including browsers, registered users, and contributors of content.

2. Description of Service

Wahala Workers is a platform that enables users to:

• Search and verify worker information
• Read and write reviews about workers
• Report concerns or issues regarding workers
• Access worker ratings and profiles

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform at any time without prior notice.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

3.2 Account Restrictions

You may not:

• Create multiple accounts to circumvent limits
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use another user's account without permission
• Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

4. User Content

4.1 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for any content you post, including reviews, ratings, reports, and comments. You agree not to post content that:

• Is false, misleading, or defamatory
• Violates any law or regulation
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains harmful, abusive, or hateful content
• Spams or solicits without authorization
• Impersonates another person or entity

4.2 Content License

By posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your content on the Platform.

4.3 Content Moderation

We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any content at our sole discretion. We are not obligated to monitor content but may do so.

5. Subscription Plans and Payments

5.1 Free Plan

New users receive a free plan with limited searches and reports. Free plan features may change at any time.

5.2 Paid Plans

Paid subscription plans provide additional features and increased limits. All fees are in Nigerian Naira (NGN) and are non-refundable except as required by law.

5.3 Payment Processing

Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways (Paystack, Flutterwave). We do not store your complete payment card information.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The Platform is free of viruses or harmful components
• The information is accurate, reliable, or complete

We do not guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content, including reviews and ratings. Users should exercise their own judgment when making decisions based on Platform information.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WAHALA WORKERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Platform
• Damages resulting from any conduct or content of third parties
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wahala Workers, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:

• Your use of the Platform
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another
• Any content you post on the Platform

9. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Platform:

• In any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• To harm, threaten, or harass others
• To transmit spam, malware, or harmful code
• To impersonate any person or entity
• To collect information about other users
• To interfere with the Platform's security or functionality
• For any commercial purpose without our written consent

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Platform will cease
• Your account and content may be deleted
• You will not be entitled to any refunds

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Nigeria.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
